Where to begin?
Currently teaching and surviving in rural Lincolnshire, famed for its beautiful open sky and not much else.
Longing for more time spent in a forest, cwtched up in a sleeping bag inside a tent.
I spend my time searching for serendipitous signs, the perfect handbag and, often, my car keys.
I dream of rainy days and cups of tea.
My faithful terriers and I love long walks on the beach, where they can bounce in the surf and I can paddle with my shoes on.
I love any kind of music that contains beauty and truth.
There is only one book I've ever started that I didn't finish. Likewise, only one film where I have left the cinema before it ended.
I believe that good dogs go to Heaven.
I've started my Bucket List early; why wait until your time is running out? So far, I have learnt to drive, appeared on Gardener's Question Time, and had a pint with Terry Pratchett (he had a pot of tea).
I will only eat trifle if my Nan made it.
Sometimes I have Strange Ideas.
Sometimes I write them down.
Much Love to these special people.
I was born under a lucky star.
An obvious thank you first to my parents, who told me I was wonderful and that I could do anything I set my mind to.
Thank you, Nan, who opens my mind everytime I see her. She started this when she gave me an exquisite journal and told me to write it all down.
Thank you, Tori. You're an inspiration, as well as an excellent writer, and the reason I'm brave enough to do this.
Thank you, Lucy, Kirsty, Laura, Catherine, Jody and Emma, for being kind and not laughing at me. I value your support and friendship.
Thank you, John, for reading my blog right from the beginning and for your encouragement.
Thank you to Class 3 for helping me with the words.
Thank you to Sally and Sharon, for the sound advice and kick up the backside.
Finally, thank you to my darling dogs, Harvey and Alfie, for always being pleased to see me.
